I just started converting this tank from a pseudo-marine to FW planted. so far I have a big ugly rock with java fern, lace java fern and a small bit of java moss tied to it, and some wisteria planted in the corner. I want this to be a thickly planted tank and I want your suggestions. If you have any plants for sale that you suggest I buy that would be cool.

you will want low light plants unless you add another 10 watts or so. low light plants are most ferns, mosses, certain hygro, water sprite, anubias and others. just check plantedtank.com. you can search plant profiles based on lighting requirements.

Hey, if you squint a little, that big ugly rock looks like a rabbit! With the fern as the ears.

It looks like you can spread out your Java moss a bit more over the rock. And maybe trim the top off some of the wisteria at the back and plant it into the front area. I find wisteria the easiest plant to propagate. I just pluck a leaf off, put it in the sand and in a week it will have roots.

You've pretty much got low light plants already, and when you add the Co2, your plants will hopefully flourish. And eventually it will cover the ugly rock - which is starting to look like an easter egg to me.

I can't wait to see your tank in a few weeks time.
