im really stoked. i have some good plans for this, and just wanted to run it by yall.
i think i may want to get another small fish, to help my firefish with the Pod pop.
Right now im really pushin the limits of bio-load, and i have a minor deitritus issues due to the lack of any sort of deitritus expulsion (i.e. filter socks.)
i curently have one of these

soo, im planning on figuring a way to remove the skimmer column from my current skilter, drill a hole in the side or bottom and plumb the typhoone into it.
Reason being, id like to tie a filter sock off in the skilter box where ive tied the typhoone in.
this way i can stir up the detritus, and remove it via filter sock.
Soo a few questions now.
Is this gonna work like it does in my head?
any better ideas?
any problems in over looking?
anything?
