Currently I have a Current USA Satellite 30" Light but with a 10000k atiniic blue bulb. I'm not liking the blue and would like to either buy a new bulb dual daylight for around $27 or should I just buy this and add this to my tank?

How much electricity does this use? I plan on not using it at the same time, probably using it one at a time but having both on top of the tank. Will this be a good idea?... The 6700k/10000k with the T5 would make the tank plants look much better ; otherwise woudl it be recommneded to just buy the bulb for my fixture now.

Hi Jones,

Yes this is my light. It does include one bulb that is 1000k and one Atinic Bulb.

CU0101430"2x65W1-Dual Daylight / 1-Dual Actinic1Yes2D30"x7.25"x2.5"

It is a SUNPAQ bulb; with one white and one blue tube. These dimensions is based on the website you've provided. Sorry if I phrased it too quick if caused any confusions.

I look forward to your help.

Take out the Actinic bulb and throw in a 6700k bulb along with the 10k

I agree with ITHURTZ. Just replace the actinic bulb with a 6700K bulb. It will be cheaper and I've heard the T5 put out a lot more light than corallife's for the same wattage.

the one issue is the bulb is a straight pin SUNPAQ; there is one white bulb and one blue which are attached to the screw. If I do replace the atinic blue bulb; ill have to swap the entire part to a Dual Dayligh (10k/6700k) straight pin SUNPAQ bulb.
