AARGH! Fish dead after 5 days.

I got a geometric pygmy hawk from the LFS about 5 days ago. This afternoon he showed up dead in a cave that faces the glass. After retreiving his corpse (by hand I need to get a stupid reefnet) I noticed that his body was not thin. He seemed as satiated as the day I got him. Here's what happened. I got him, he disapears into the rock work. The next day he pops out to say hello. Then his dead corpse is the next I see of him. What do you think happened here? Did he starve? The other fish are in great shape, the params are good and the corals are fine.
 
do u know how long he was in the lfs before u got him? it could be a number of things. how did u acclimate him? he could have been sick when u got him. ur guess is as good as mine.
 
when we get these in stock we have lost one or 2 for no reason.they eat great one day and then dead by the next.its a mystery for me too.awesome lil fish tho
 
He has in for a very breif amount of time. They just got him in. They just die? That's weird. Would it be stupid to bring him in to the LFS to have him looked at? He was full size when I got him.
