Petstore workers...

Since I love working with fish, i applied at Petsmart. They wont hire me :(

I go to the store to see who got the job instead of me and its this annoying person who literally followed me and my friend around the store asking if we wanted a betta.

The tanks were Very Dirty. And the snails were all dead : (

I think its so stupid that these places will hire someone who knows nothing about fish over someone who is very interested in the hobby.

Im thinking about applying for Petco instead, Anyone have any tips ?

it's a lot simpler to hire an idiot who will do anything you say than to hire someone with ideas and opinions that are at odds with your own. either find a place that values experience and intelligence, or act dumb.

you dont know why they hired them over you.... no need to go and bash a store just cuz you didnt get a job it happens....

oh, i'm not saying that all petsmarts are like that.i've met some great petsmart employees. i'm saying that anyw time you look for a job, some of the people in charge of hiring will want robots, and some will want independent people. not every place is the same.
