Can someone give me a general idea of how to set up a closed loop system for water movement?

I have a 240 gal tank, with overflows at 2400gph.

I was thinking of adding Koriolis water movers, however a closed loop system was suggested instead.

How are people making these closed loop systems? Thanks in advance.

You have a intake drilled on the back of the tank, as well as returns.. as many as you want. Here is one of my tanks, not setup, already drilled with a closed-loop. External pump sucks in water in the intake and spits it back out the 2 returns.

as stated above you have to have an intake that is double the size of the returns so that the pump has the ability to take in more water then its outputting and also you have use jets like in the picture above, or you can use loc line nozzles or just PVC. They are very simple, if you have any problems please PM/email and i will help you out.

id really like to see some of the veterans elaborate on these closed loop systems...
i also have a 225 and am looking to do something similar.
i have two 1.5 inch bulkheads for intakes, but dont quite know what to do for returns... i was thinking 4, 3/4 inch returns with line locs.
my bigger dilema is that i would like to run 2 cl setups on a timer for a wave maker.. but what pumps do i use for this and how many returns?
