I picked up a few packs of sally's hatch mix on clearance. I am wondering if I can hatch the eggs and then add the live brine to my fuge and if they'd breed and grow and all that? Wouldn't that be beneficial and produce more fish food than if I just use the three packs and feed directly to my tank?

Also, how do you export pods and such from your fuge to the main tank for the fish to eat? Or do you just let them make their own way up through the return?

Thanks!

i wouldnt do it. THey would hatch eventualy, but the cysts would still be in the water colum. They are pretty much indigestable and can actually kill your fish if they eat them and it clogs their intestinal tract. The same thing with corals. If any sps corals try to ingest the cyst, it can sometimes damage it.
As far as pods, they will make their way up. or you can just move a small piece of rock or cheato form your sump to the main tank and leave it there for a little while.
