Hi, I have a 55 gallon cichlid tank,,with kinda of a hodge podge mixture of africans,,(and 1 american). I want to stick with africans,,mbuna to be exact. Here's a list, what should I get rid of and what else should I get to mix with the ones I keep.

WHAT I WANT TO KEEP:
(common names)
snow white
red zebra
ice blue zebra

WHAT I MAY GET RID OF:
venustus
blue hap (may keep him)
ob peacock
yellow peacock
JD
1 hybrid

I'd like to hear some stocking ideas which could mix with some of the fish I already have..thanks.

Get rid of what you're thinking of getting rid of and then sex your mbuna and get them mates at a ratio of 1 male to 3-4 females, or do an all male tank.

how much rockwork do you have? the more caves, the better.

Yes, I have lots of rockwork,,I'd like to get it a little more higher, but ideally my tank is set up pretty well for Africans,,sand bottom and all. I just want to get some fish that are a little along more of the same line.
Not sure though if I want to go with the male to female ratio, was leaning more towards the male species tank.
