I was feeding my fish just now and my male Cockatoo is slower than my other fish, so I usually feed him right of my finger. The fish food sticks to my finger long enough for him to grab it right before it starts sinking.
I usually put the food right in front of his mouth, but today he was too slow and it started sinking before he got any. I thought I'd poke him lightly to get his attention, but he came right out of the tank on my finger and landed on the carpet  I learned my lesson.
He seems ok and started eating as soon as I put him back in but his right Operculum fin (I had to look that up) is stuck to the side of his body. I'm assuming this will naturally fix itself?
