I can't seem to settle on lights that i like. I have a 55 watt on there now and the corners seem dark. I was going to get the 2x55 watt kit from AH Supply but that won't help with lighting up the corners. The tank is 30" wide, the 55 watters are too short, and the 96 is too long. ahhh.
what do you guys do with your 29 gals. ( if you even have them )

thanks,
ian

I have a 29 gal with the 55 watt kit from AHSupply. I was also dissatisfied with the dark corners. I don't know how much it helped but I lined the ends of the light housing with aluminum foil.

Would getting one of the 2x13w kits and running them on the sides help?

I have the 2x55 and it seems to light up the corners just fine. a 1x55 might not as well since it is more removed from the corners.
