Guess who dared to try again?

The good news is that it went in the tank last night and attached immediately. Walked about 2 inches to the left and has stayed there since. Oh, and for those that remember the woes of PITA, the same guy helped me pick this one out and had a clone from the same parent PITA was from. He said his was the same and he lost it as well. Drain bramage I'm telling you, drain bramage.

I have it in the same place the open brain was that the clowns were so wild about (and damaged). Hopefully they'll migrate to this eventually.

gorgeous! When you pick a spot to settle your nem...what kind of place do you look for? Powerhead path or nay? Etc?

I'm loving it, it is amazing how quickly this one took to settling in compared to the experience with PITA.

Journey, they'll settle where they want really. I chose an area that doesn't get direct flow but gets great flow and light. Mostly though I chose where the clowns fell in love with the brain.

very nice looking BTA. The one I have has split 2 times in 1 week, and now it seems to be thriving. When I fist got it, it was a bit bleached, but now it is doing rather well.

Good luck with this one. I hope it fares better than PITA.

Have you picked a name out for this one yet?

OK Grins, I want to see the voodoo doll you made of my anemone. It walked for the first time ever today:eek: I woke up this morning to find it rolling around under a rock so I moved it to the other side and rested my grabbers gently on it til it stuck, went outside for 10 mins later on this afternoon, came back in and it had moved again!!!

I didn't give you THAT much grief about mine not being a walker!!!!:grinyes:

Beautiful speckled bta! You've gotta tell me how to keep it bulbous. Mine all end up like lta's, no matter what tank or parameters.:angryfire:

It does look kinda orange there but it is definitely green in person. And Tom no trick to keeping it bulbous from what I know there is no rhyme or reason for it, some stay that way some don't.

I have noticed that mine went more bulbous after feeding. Although I wouldn't know now because it's hiding under some rocks. Still getting a bit of light but no where near as much! Teach me to show off that mine never moves!:wall:

Grins - beautiful BTA. My Green (not nearly as beautiful) does't stay very bulbuous except after feeding. MIne actually went into hiding for a while. I will watch this thread to see your progress and hope that this one never finds the PH.

Knock on wood but so far it has stayed put. Pita's good twin.
