I have (had) 4 angles in my 100gal--2 black, one marbel, one "Koi". Saw them about 2 weeks ago. I have almost 90 fishes in there so it is sort of crowded (I added 10 corys last week--so do not fry me). Well today I am looking at my fish and noticecd I am missing the Koi. Look all over tank (inside and out). He's gone??? Not much space around tank for me too see properly (15+ inches on one side for 20lb CO2 tank and controls, and about 6" behind tank).

???? He was about 3+ inches snout to base of tail, so is not a small angel.:confused:

probably buried under a pile of cories.

seriously though, if it died for any reason the other fish would have eaten the body very quickly, within a day or two. the only things left *might* be the skull and a few large bones, but even those would be hard to find in a 100g.

escpecially with so many fish in the tank, any traces of the body will be long gone.

what kind of filter do you have?

Not the way I meant it. I always "look" at it, but not always look intently at it. I have a lot of plants, and lots of movement--- my golden barb, Bleeding hearts, and Diamonds are always on the move.

I run 2 magnum filter, one on each end. The outlet is below the surface to keep CO2 in tank for plants. I clean one every month+.
