Excel for BBA

Hi, I'm having Black Beard Algae problems and I've heard that Flourish Excel is very good against it. Is it true? and if it is does it lowers pH? because I'm already using a DIY CO2 system.:confused:
 
It should help and will not further alter your pH (unless your GH is super low, then anything will alter your pH).
 
I have had good luck with it but only at triple the dosage.
With no adverse affects on my fauna.....including sensitive inverts.

After the BBA is under control I recommend using it as directed to keep the BBA from returning.

I agree. Ive used it also with great succes, and I used it with a baby oral syringe, applying it directly to the affected area.
