I would like to relocate at least one of the baby catfish approx 4-5" here at the apartment to my big catfish tank due to unexpected water shortages/ increased needs of other tank due to fighting issues.

The catfish would already been moved after a regular monthly water change had I not gone there and found a rotting six inches cichlid in the tank. This is a long distance issue. I'm guessing the cichlid was rotting in there a few days. I've given the big cats first a 30 percent water change, then a 25 percent, and then a 20 percent.

Ok so I have the three grown up syno. eupterus and I want to add the smaller hybrid cat in with them. If there's any problems with the larger catfish beating on a smaller one, then I'll wait. If not then water quality allowing, I'd like to move the hybrid sometime this week.

Then I'd like to keep the other two smaller babies with me at the apartment until we go camping later in the summertime, then I'd relocate them as well and shut down that tank. Partly because I want them to live with me longer so I can watch them and partly because I feel there's too much of a size difference yet.

Forgot to mention, there's a chance I may move this summer/ get my own place ( really complicated). When that happens all apartment tanks will be taken down and I will take the two catfsih tanks back at my parents house. AKA they will live with me again.
