How many crabs shoud I have in a 20 gallon aquarium. I have 2 clownfish and a green brittle star in it. I also have 15 pounds of live rock. I was just wondering what a good number of crabs would be?

A slack handfull of about 3 - 5 in my opinion....HOWEVER, be carefull with the green brittle star, they are very predatious...

What will they prey on?? My fish / crabs? or everything?

Depends on the size of them...When they get big, they will feed on anything it can smother with its arms....and that includes fish and snails..

haha, i knew you'd make a comment about the color of the star, reefscape ;) thanks to you i know to stay away from the green ones, which is a good thing to know as i'm a sucker for critters that are colorful. i'd be really sad if i woke up one day and my star had eaten my beloved blood shrimp...

i recently got rid of my green brittle star. he at about $150 of fish in 2 days. all tolled he probably ate over $300
