I have a cluster of these growing on my rock (I'm talking about the cluster of green things just to the left of the sun coral). At first I thought they were aiptasia, but they have solid tubes like featherdusters. It is hard for me to tell, but these tubes seem to be connected, like in a branching coral. Sorry I can't get better pictures, but these things are very small. The head (or what ever you call it) is probably 1 mm in diamteter, and the diameter with the tentacles is probable 3-4 mm. You really can't see the tentacles in the pictures but they are very fine and hairlike. The hermit crab just to the upper left of these things will give you an idea of their size. Anybody have any idea what they might be?

How many tentacles came out of each head? Were they long and thread like or shorter and fatter?

Too many tentacles to count. They are very thin and wispy, probably ~2 mm long each. They easily sway with the current in the tank. They are almost like the sun coral's on the right of the picture, but even thinner (and shorter).

I will see if I can get any better pictures tomorrow after the lights come back on.
