Ok, we're getting closer to adding fish and I'm trying to decide for sure what fish I want to get. I would like to eventually go wth corals too, so reef-safe is a must.
It's a 67 gal, Length 48", Width 12.5", Height 25"

Here's what I definately want:
Ocellaris (2)
Blue Chromis (5)
Royal Gramma (1)
Lawnmower Blenny (1)

Here's what I'm debating on:
Yellow Watchman Goby vs Diamond Watchman Goby
Bangaii Cardinal(s)

I also want a wrasse. I WANT a Mysteri Wrasse, but they go for about $175, so might as well forget that...

I also eventually want a Mandarian Dragonette.

I'd love a Dwarf Flame Angel but I've heard they may pick at corals.

Any ideas of any I haven't thought of are welcome. Also, do any of them specifically need to be first/last in the tank?

Thanks guys!!

thats fine but i think 5 chromis is pretty too much

theres more wrasses that is cheaper and has alot more colors than Mystery wrasse

I also eventually want a Mandarian Dragonette.

should wait atleast 6 months. these are pods eaters.

i lost mine a week ago due to unknown reason as wells others in this forum, you should also wait atleast 6 months. its always hit and miss with corals

Any ideas of any I haven't thought of are welcome. Also, do any of them specifically need to be first/last in the tank?

Thanks guys!!

hope this helps

thats overstocked IMHO, id suggest nixin the chromis and aiming for 6-8 fish that have a max size of 4-5 inches TOPS.
take into account thats a HUGE biload, and that youre gonna want to add these fish over like a 6 month period of time or more. that way your nitrofying bacterias can catch up to the new excess of poo

1 of these fish (Pair of cardinals) if you're willing to nix another from the list above

again, only if you make room. also keep in mind many wrasses are very aggressive fish, and expensive.

I also eventually want a Mandarian Dragonette.
based on the fact that you havent posted how much LR youve got, and the tanks brand spankin new, im gonna have to say thats a no no.
if you really want one, leave an open spot in the bio load, and stock pods every month for 6 months to a year.

I'd love a Dwarf Flame Angel but I've heard they may pick at corals.
its really dependant on the individual fish. personally its a risk i wouldnt take.

Any ideas of any I haven't thought of are welcome. Also, do any of them specifically need to be first/last in the tank?

the more aggressive species of fish should be the last things you add a few months down the road
Thanks guys!!

keep in mind that this is really only my opinions based on my personal experience. i am an advocate of high flow and low bioload. i plan on possibly adding a second fish to my 18 gallon now only because i just got a fancy new skimmer. consistant "0's" are what i strive for

Ocellaris (2)
Blue Chromis (5) <<Would leave these out>>
Royal Gramma (1)
Lawnmower Blenny (1) <<I would wait a while before adding this, unless your willing to always ensure a supply of algae is available>>

Here's what I'm debating on:
Yellow Watchman Goby vs Diamond Watchman Goby <<Yellow watchman for me. If you want a Diamond Goby, i would wait untill the sandbed is established>>
Bangaii Cardinal(s)

I also want a wrasse. I WANT a Mysteri Wrasse, but they go for about $175, so might as well forget that... <<LOL...Agreed, forget it>>

I also eventually want a Mandarian Dragonette. <<Good word, eventually...About 9 months down the line, when the pod colony is well established>>

I'd love a Dwarf Flame Angel but I've heard they may pick at corals.
<<Always a possibility. Very up and down as to whether they will or not>>

Any ideas of any I haven't thought of are welcome. Also, do any of them specifically need to be first/last in the tank?
<<Most agressive in last>>

Thanks guys!!

Added my thoughts in red...

i just had a flame angel and it died a week ago also to an unknown reason. i just bought a cleaner wrasse yesterday and i must say for $14 it is the most interactive and interesting fishn in my tank.

Not a fan of cleaner wrasses due to their feeding ...

However, that's 3 of us that had flame angels die in the last week or so on this forum alone.

I have a yellow watchman goby and he is hilarious! It takes awhile for them to get used to the tank and feeding time but mine will now swim out of his cave and come almost to the top of the tank to get food! He actually stole a big piece of shrimp out of my coral beauty's mouth today, lol

2.5 weeks then it died with no real reason
