I've been watchin a momma ghost shrimp for the past week or so. When I got her, she had eggs tucked up inside. I can't be completely sure (because I can't get a good look at her the past two days) but it doesn't appear the eggs are there anymore.

Are they live hatchlings when its time to leave momma or does she eventually let go of them? Now granted there's probably no way tell if any of them survived until a few weeks I guess, just curious on survival? No fishies in tank just fellow ghosties.

I believe it depends on which species of "ghost shrimp" it is. Some need brackish for the babies to survive and develop and other species can reproduce in freshwater. I believe you can find info on them at www.theshrimpfarm.com (http://www.theshrimpfarm.com). Good luck!
