I WANT A NEW FISH

The only thing about some of the gobies is that they do tend to "sit" alot and Bane might be a little too quick. Not sure about how you would get on with adding another firefish with the one you already have.

What about a small damsel, there might be a friendly type out there.

the blue yellow-talied damsels are friendlier than most from what i hear. i'm no expert though...jeweled damsels are pretty, but i don't know how compatable it would be with a firefish.

jeweled damsel are nice but gets big and mean.
i'd go for clown goby.
Don't know about the clown goby...I have a yellow and a green and all they do is hide in the rocks. There are some pretty good specials on some nice looking gobies at bluezooaquatics.com. I've gotten a lot of fish from them and they are great to deal with...just watch for a couple of weeks and they might put a goby or maybe even a different fish that would be good for your tank on sale.

Of the choices that you note in your post I am familiar with three. I have a bi-color blenny and he is probably not a good choice in that they typically are in hideholes in rocks and while not necessarily on the bottom they don't go far from the bottom.

The rainford goby is really nice and docile, but typically they are in the low 1/3 of the water column. Look great in a small school.

The green goby is a bottom sitter so that won't work to well.

THe firefish you already know about since you have one as do I and he is really peaceful.

im leanin towards the cort jester goby,or the zebra dart fish.....

time to scower the net for a few weeks, JOY!

I like the zebra dart fish.
