I was considering buying bullfrog tadpoles (2-3in from LFS) to put in my pond with my comets and two koi. The largest fish in the pond atm is about 6-7 inches with the others trailing in behind it. Would this idea be ok?

Yep. I have bullfrog tadpoles about 1 inch in with goldfish of about 3-4 inches in a 200 gallon pond and they don't eat the tadpoles at all.

HI MY NAME IS BILL,I HAVE A POND ABOUT 5000 GALLONS.MY KOI ARE24-28 INCHES THEY WONT EAT FROGS OR TADPOLES.BUT FROGS DONT STAY AROUND.THEY WILL LEAVE WHEN THEY WANT.I ALSO HAVE A PLACE OUTSIDE FOR BOX TURTLES WITH A SMALL POND 4FTX4FTX6INCHES DEEP AND IT IS FILTERED ALSO .THE FROGS WONT STAY HERE.

MTILLER---DONT BUY TADPOLES,CATCH THEM YOURSELF.DEPENDS WHERE YOU LIVE ON WHEN YOU CAN FIND THEM.I GO WITH MY GRANDSONS WE MAKE A DAY OF IT,WE HAVE A BLAST.WE KEEP SOME FROGS / TADPOLES /CRAYFISH.

Hi folks, first post. I live close enough to the bayou that the frogs and turtles find their way to the pond and have never bothered the fish. The turtles will come up when feeding the fish.

you should probably try to catch some, depending where you live. i used to live in ohio and you couldent go by any body of water without hearing them jump into the water like dominos falling.

hmm you're right, but I already put in the order at the lfs. I think it might be more convenient to buy from them because I have a mile or so from my sub-division and last time i checked no tadpoles.

well I picked up four bullfrog tadpoles from the lfs yesterday and released them last night. went in to check on them today during a 20% wc and pond clean up and they are still doing pretty well. (for some reason one of my comets jumped out early this morning or last night and died. now i'm down to 7 fish)
