I've got problem post

Well, I figured (if it's ok with the mods and everyone) that I'd start an "I've got problems" post. I thought it might do some people some good to get some stuff off their chest and it might make people feel better to see that there are other people out there who are worse off than you (hopefully).

I'll start: I've got problems. My job is likely going away in 90 days and I only have a month or so of expenses in the bank. I also have a horrible crush on a co-worker who has no idea and seems to think of me as a buddy. It's painful just to look at her every night and not have any of the feelings reciprocated. I've got problems. You?

I got fired from my job the beginning of this month for being home nearly deathly ill (both me and my kid) for 3 days. applied to a dozen new jobs, but nothing has panned out except for temp work - which is too unstable for me to not worry financially, or jobs that don't pay enough to live off of. my bank account holds about 1/3 of what i need for the next months expenses, my mom is recovering from breast cancer surgery with no info yet as to her course of treatment (chemo? radiation?), my daughter's dayhome caregiver is ill as of yesterday, my dad and stepmom are trying to control my life, my house is a disaster zone but i don't have the energy to clean, i havn't done my taxes yet, i need about two thousand worth of dental work done with no benifits to help cover the cost, i don't call my grandpa like i should because i can't afford the long distance (he is slowly dying from various health problems, including leukemia), my mastercard bill is so close to being maxxed i'm suprised they havn't cancelled it on me....

I'd go on but i really can't think of anything else that is major, and the minor stuff is really of no consequence right now (except for the huge zit in the middle of my forehead!)

good idea for this thread, A. Nonymous. doesn't help get stuff off my chest, but at least you guys can share my pain, eh? lol

Just take care of the basics and don't worry about the rest for now. Take care of food, shelter, clothing, utilities and the car in that order. You get all that taken care of the other stuff doesn't look quite so overwhelming. I wish you luck.
