Amano vs Cherry Shrimp

which shrimp is better for a heavily planted tank?
isn't it bad to have both in the same tank?

They're both fine in a planted tank. Cherry shrimp will reproduce with minimal effort, however, Amano shrimp need special environments to successfully rear young. Red Cherry shrimp are also much cheaper.
