Hello from New York

Hi...I'm new to this forum. Someone told me about it at the local pet shop. We (my husband and I) have two tanks and we basically know very little about them! I have a 20 gallon tank with a few gold fish in it (so far so good). My husband just set up a 30 gallon tank and is getting it ready for......that's the problem, we don't know what to put in it! :confused: He's interested in some bala sharks....I'm not sure if we have the right set up:help: ....any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. :newbie:

Welcome to AC. for stocking help you might want to post in the freshwater section. sadly bala sharks get way to big for a 30 gal tank. they get to be over a foot or so.

welcome to AC.... I would say too that maybe the 3e0 gallon, you can use to split up those goldfish. If they are comets (torpedo shaped and not the fancy ones), you will eventually need a pond for them as they get way too big for a 20 or 30 gallon.
