Marine Snow: opinions??

Hi there,
What do you all think of the product marine snow? Are there better varieties out there? How much do you feed and how often? I know that for the size of my tank I only need a capfull but don't know dosing frequencies.

I have lots of creatures that need plankton size niblets...any advice?
 
If I recall correctly, there was a comparative study years ago and the success of marine snow vs. things like live phytoplankton was pretty lopsided--in a bad way. Depending upon what you are trying to feed and your goals, either a nice zooplankton substitute and/or live phytoplankton are more your speed.
 
Sorry for butting in, but is marine snow good to feed in general? I was looking at it as something to feed the tank, so all the smaller critters, feather dusters etc got something.
