i see where they get there cow name from....

my mate was taking down his EX-wifes tank yesterday, all LR and stock went to the LFS and it was just the sand and shells for decor left to get rid of.

well in i stroll and ask him why he didnt take the tiger cowrie to the shop, and he thought that shell would look nice in his bathroom!

well well well, home i come with a rather huge cowrie. Funny, he said he never noticed it in there, never saw it eating or anything.

well, i have him in my 57G tank, REEF. and for a shell that never got noticed...hes pretty much makin up for lost time. he must of touched every inch of my glass, live rock, sand, and today, i had to go get milliput, cos he might just move the wrong peice of rock and knock it all down.

he must have stepped on a few mushies, zoas on the way, but nothing has suffered any bad effects.

however, i doubt its long term..........unless i make space. its cool to look at though.

just read this back to myself, and theres no Q's or anything.......so im just sharing this with you...lol.

You're more brave than me!!! Any piccies of it. My LFS won't sell me one because they tend to "bulldoze" over corals and send them flying:grinyes:

I have a large one. I have never fed him. He's 13 years old and I rarely even see him. I sometimes don't see him for years.
