I found it in an Indian News Paper. Can you tell me what kind of marine fish is this ?



The article read as
1. It can change its colors like a chameleon
2. It make it's body shape look like a sphere to scare the predators

Possibly a Stars and Stripes puffer? Like my old one? When it would puff up it would be the size of a basketball.

I would say its an SnS puffer, agreed.....Looking at the stripes along the belly of the fish and the spot of the back of the fish in picture number 3....

Arothron hispidus is found around India, so that is likely the case. There is the possibility (since we don't know its origin) that it could be one of the miscellaneous freshwater species, but I'm not really aware of one that is striped quite like that.
