Yep. A yellow striped Maroon. Otherwise known as Evil B***** from hell:angryfire: She did nothing but try and bite my LFS's fingers when he was helping me re-scape the rockwork. it was quite funny to watch a grown man swear at a fish and try and smack it one!!!

Her lips will end up white/blue looking (I'm guessing bruising) from lifting and pushing rockss out of the way. The only reasons she is doing it today is because first of her anemone decided to go walkies around the tank and it has now parked itself just below the zoas, and secondly because when I was fragging a couple of Zoas, I dislodged that particular rock and had to move it back into place. She now thinks it's been freshly placed so it has to go!!!!!

I tell ya. Give me kids any day:eek3:

Mine did that EVERY day I had it... AND it would bite me every time I put my hand in the tank. I just got used to picking up corals on a daily basis when I left for and got home from work. Maroon clowns just can't stand anything being within 12" of their precious (anemone). Even reef putty is no match for a maroon clown. Funny the first time.. annoying as can be the 1200th time.

lol I too had to learn the hard way that anything that isn't super super glued down is fair game. I would be plucking frags from my goby's and blenny's caves daily.
Your clown seems adorable though. Even if she is a brat :lipssealedsmilie:

P.S. I like how the falling frag caught the attention of the fish at the end.

That's the new Angel, I just hope she isn't learning bad habits!!!

Luckily it's not every day, just when I've been moving things and she wants to move them to a different place. You're right though - funny the first time - Novelty wears off after a while!!!

Ha! Making them stay closed wasn't enough for her.

They closed up when I started fragging them, then they slowly opened until she knocked them off. the reason I could record her was because that was the fourth time!!! The Zoas are now sat round the other side of the rock and her anemone has moved again, so I'm sure we'll be re-arranging something else later!

My goldstripe maroon does the exact same thing...only because it's right by her anemone. She bites me too, little *******...what happened to don't bite the hand that feeds you

My black occelaris has learned that the only place she can hurt me with her bites is the webbing between my fingers, and it's now the first place she goes for when my hands go in the tank. Smart lil buggers aren't they?

My maroon is a ******* too. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with this fish, I love to hate it. Always moving things and breaking up my SPS, someday I'll break the tank down to get it out. Good luck with yours CPD, I hope it does not cause you the same damage as does mine.

Hey, where have you been Matt, haven't seen you around for a while!!:grinyes:

I've got to love her, I've had her for 3.5 years, she was a present from a friend because I wrote and read out a poem at her wedding, wish I'd kept my mouth shut!!!

I suppose it all adds to her character:liar:

Sorry CPD for not getting back sooner, just have been really busy lately, trying to help a friend of mine get his business going(cheap, mostly free labor), plus as my 3 little kids get older, I am finding I have less and less time to do the things I may want to(Baseball, I help coach too, Gymnastics, Boyscouts, Girlscouts, plus I have another coming along, soon to be getting into other activities also). I know all just excuses, but I have checked in from time to time to see what was going on, just haven't posted anything in awhile. This particular forum(site)seems to be very slow on my computer, even the typing is slow and choppy(really started to bug me) for some reason. Sorry for complaining. I'll try to post more from time to time. Have you guys been doing any scheduled live chats? Have a good one m8.
Matt
