I ordered a Hagen Nitrate Test Kit from Big Al's, however they sent me the Calcium Kit, (and it say's I ordered a Calcium kit on the invoice.) Should I hassle with an exhange, or is a Calcium test kit something I would ever use in 4 Freshwater tanks, (with no live rocks or inverts.) Info on Big Al's customer servive in exhanges would also be helpful here. Thanks.

Oh, one more thing. Last time I ordered from them, I ordered an AP Nitrate Kit - which was out of stock. I may never have a Nitrate test kit.

calcium tests are only used in saltwater!

calcium is used by corals
Stony corals use the most, soft ones used less.

Ooooo kayyy....I guess I won't be needing that.

Any feedback on Big Als customer service? I'm just starting school again and if it's gonna be a big hassle, I think I'll take the $7 loss. Maybe I can sell the kit to the Pet Store I work at, or exchange it with the Nitrate ones we sell, for that matter. Actually, that last idea doesn't sound so bad...

Nah, what you care about are the carbonates, ("KH"), which may come along with calcium.
