Well, a few weeks ago, I was asking what the probability of mixing black and red crystals were. No one seemed to have a very good answer... aside from "What?! Mixing them?! No!"

I stumbled upon a great chart for those who are curious about mixing red/black.

i have heard the red is more dominant over black so you should have a steady supply of both juts more on the red side though

Red is the recessive trait. So if anything, you will have more blacks than reds if your blacks don't carry the red gene latently and mate with a red. Although their offspring will be black with the recessive trait.
