Discus fry started swimming

I had put white paper around tank end babies started swimming couldn't find Pigieon Blood female 17 eggs hatched. Male Blue Leopard started eating them. I took him out: later only one fry left what could be the problem? Starving? What else can I do? Put them in their own tank? Any ideas appreciated. :help:

new parents may eat the young.

the best thing ..if you want to raise fry ..is to isolate the parents to a breeder tank.place the tank in a low traffic area and let them do what discus do.
