Need some info on Kenyi Fry

I've read a lot on the raising of Kenyi fry and all is going well. I have about 20 to 25 fry about a week and a half from release date. They're about 5/8 in. long now and growing rapidly on fine flake food and cyclops frozen food.

My questions are:
1) Does anyone know when the males will start to change color to yellow?
2) At what size (on average) will LFS's take fry?

1. not until they are much bigger, around 2.5"-3"
2. some will take them at around an 1"-1.5", some will not take them at all, because they're one of the most common mbuna sold in alot of lfs's.
