My family has two cats. I am constantly chasing them off the tank. Here is one of the little culprits in action. After I chased this guy I off into his litter box I came back in to find the other cat had taken his place.

hmm he would be in for a surprise at my house my tank has an open top and the lights hang from above it...

lol i can almost see this in my mind.

*cat spots lights..."hmmm that looks nice to sun under*jumps* REEAAARRR claws his way out of tank* amy sets litterbox and cat out on the porch since he has just trashed my tank

I would do the same thing. Even if they are my sister's and mom's cats xD

I have to monitor the room when I leave the top open to do water changes. The cats would totally do a nose dive into water because they jump down from my tall desk onto the tank.


Cute..but that would have to stop in my house....

I have tried to train them not to do it. Sometimes they will come out of my room drenched in water because I use the good old spray bottle method to get them off, then I chase them around a bit so they get the idea.

LMAO...my cat used to drink from the tank. I'm sure she got fishy kisses and a few nibbles.
Everyonce in a while she would slip and I'd have wet paw prints across the hardwood floor.
