I was just browsing on another forum where members were calling names in thread, being rude and swearing, without repercussion....makes me happy that we have such a gret family here!

yeah, this is a good forum. ppl (naturally) do disagree sometimes but theyre not usually disrespectful.
AC is a very helpful forum, and i think i wouldve been lost if i hadnt found it, to say the least. i think all fish keepers should be on AC or MFK, depending on what kind of fish they have. i like MFK too, but really only signed up there bc of their awesome DIY section. i like to browse there sometimes, but am mainly on AC.
idk if this belongs in general chitchat or in another section, but ohwelllllll

I agree whole heartedly. I belong to another forum (for a different type of pet) and Newbie's are very often torn apart when asking questions. They are reprimanded for not doing research before getting their pet and if said animal gets sick or dies, they are ripped apart again for not acting fast enough, not knowing what they were doing, etc. This is an awesome forum full of very nice people. All my stupid questions have been met with kindness, good information and encouragement. :hearts:

I've been coming to AC for about 3 years now. The members here are wonderful, and I agree other places just do not have the genuine "here to help you" feel of AC.I have to give much credit to the staff, they have done a wonderful job here, and if it was not for them...we would not have the AC we have today.

I defiantly remember a AC that was not quite so friendly, and if it wasn't for Li and the staffs dedication to turning this place around, we would not have the quality members that we do today. I give them all huge props for their headaches I'm sure they endure trying to keep it the friendly welcoming place it is today!!!!

Coming here seems more like visiting friends then just going someplace for help and info. AC is a huge part of my daily life, and I enjoy talking with everyone here!!

So thanks staff and fellow members for such a wonderful place to be!! :)
