ok, at first i noticed that my goldfish had a torn back fin.... and he had a couple of red blotches on him.... it only looked like he rubbed against a rock... so then another one got it.... really bad.... and then when we went to treat him with what the LFS dude told us tto put in with him some white dots showed up on the fish (kind of looked like worms) they were in with some other fish but none of them seem to have it.... so any help????
From you description it is very hard to tell what it might be. It could be everything from a bacterial infection to a parasite attacking you fish.
So I'll have to ask a few questions.
How big is your tank?
How long has the tank been set up?
How many and what type of fish do you have it it?
How large are the fish?
How often do you change the water?
How long have you had the fish?
What medication did you use on your tank?
If you can take a picture of the fish and post it here.

Did you check you water parameters too?
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate readings? :)

i found out it was anchor worm any advice on how to treat it?
I would try a combination treatment:
First the manual removal of all of the visible parasites using tweezers.
Then treating the entire tank with both of these med's.
