the cherry shrimp! I was having a real problem a while back where every week I was loosing a new momma I was down to only 3 left; 2 females and one male. I spotted a berried momma this morning and I have about 8 of the babies from a while back growing nicely.

Question though...when the females are carrying their eggs is it normal for their saddle to reappear? Is that an indicator as to how much longer they have until the eggs hatch and are "ready to go" again?

Congrats! Many of my berried females are saddled at the same time, of course it seems like their continuously reproducing as well.
