aw jeez, you should really put a warning in the thread title when you plan on posting such uncensored utter cuteness.
my cat gave me the strangest look when i squealed in delight. the window was open too, and who knows what the neighbors think of me now. :headshake2:

I wonder if these are US-native? I've seen some native fish vendors sell them sometimes.

They're commonly referred to as 'Japanese Trapdoor Snails'. I'm not sure, but, I don't think that they're native to the U.S.

Beautiful babies - you must be so proud! What kind of diet do you feed your snails?

The "Japanese Trapdoor Snail" isn't exactly an US native, but an introduced species. That might not apply anyways, since I doubt the OP's striped snails are the same species.

I did find the striped trapdoors the native vendors sell, which I've just found out are native, but those don't look like the ones the OP has (different sized stripes).

yer they lovely, and a bonus.

they get feed in sinking algea wafers, fish flakes, green vegies-shelled peas, cucumber, lettuce etc. they also get home made food from a recipie at the top in the sticky part by msjinkz.

i have counted 5 babies so far. i cant find that much info on them tho, just a little bit. i have read that they only give birth 2-3 times a year producing upto 10 babies each time!! is this correct?

yes, they're livebearers but give birth very infrequently. you just got very lucky, i imagine! :D
