I was doing some searching for information on "personal" experiences with Boyd's Chemi-Pure and came across this thread:

I love "eliminates expensive water changes"
But my favorites are "neurological reactions like natural habitats"
and "neutralizes the fright and shock system of fishes"
esp because of the second way the last quote can be taken
not everything on the chemi-pure bottles is true but I would say that it is comparible to purigen and does do a good job in my tanks. It takes out a bit too much as far as metals though. It does not eliminate water changes.

Actually this is from a SW discussion board, so WC can be expensive due to salt additive.
Its funny because they are saying you won't need to do them, I think.
Its taking forever to load, so I gave up trying to read it.
Did anyone actually read the same thread I did? I was laughing so hard....

chemi-pure cured me of irritable bowel syndrome, herpes, warts, dandruff, psoriasis, and pattern-baldness. oh, and it also whitened my teeth and gave me minty-fresh breath.
