I know, that's what I was thinking!! There is this place by where I lived as a kid called Brockway Mountain Drive that creeps me out, I couldn't imagine being on a bike up there! I guess some people like living on the edge!!

Suicide by a cop, GTA style would be more exciting, than making forensics scrape you off the rocks.

I would say its photoshopped...
Some things dont look consistant to me...
1) Front edge of tire flat...no continutation of curve
2) The colour of the water to the right of the biker, and through the gap of the bikers arms is not consistant
3) Tire colour / tread changes (grey tyre changes to brown)
4) Rear edge of rear tyre flat...no continutation of curve

wow dude. talk about overanalysis!!! i like your dedication though. :) kinda sad that with all the fake stuff on the net people automatically assume everything is fake (me included).
but, these guys appear to be professional mountain bikers and i've got no reason to believe that the pics are fake... check out their website where those pics originally came from:
http://www.hansrey.com/latestadventures.htm
anyway, that looks crazy! i wouldn't mind hiking on that trail but not riding a bike on it.

Ah John beat me to it. Hans Rey is freakin crazy and does some incredible stuff on his bike, I've seen him on TV a few times. His nickname is Hans "No Way" Rey.
Without a doubt? I'm not sure I could be that certain. Victor Lucas is apparently a photographer specializing in Mountain Bikes. http://www.victorlucas.com/?page_id=2
Could they be photoshopped or staged? possibly. Is it possible that some extreme mountain bikers would ride this trail? I would say that's possible as well.

hans rey is a pro rider. even if it was photoshopped by the photographer, i would highly doubt hans rey would allow it on his site. the hit to his reputation would be too great for him to risk it... i don't really see why it's that suspicious anyway. i've seen a lot of risky stuff done on countless snowboarding vids that are comprable or riskier than that.
but, there's always doubt when the internet is concerned :) heck, i doubt that half the people posting on this site are real. half the tanks posted probably have photoshopped fish in them too.

as montioned above these phots are real the reason the tires look flat is because you have zoomed so far in they have become pixalated this route is along the devils ridge in the alps if i am corect and i have seem many pictures of this route
if u think this is psycotic just look at other thing rey and his palls do then you can see real scary

To be clear my post was in respone to an earlier one that said fake without a doubt. I was inclined to belive they were real but couldn't say for sure. There were a couple of posts in between while I was typing and distracted.
Looking at Rey's website though Flossy this trail would appear to be along the
Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.

But anyways, after looking at his website I think they are real, crazy but real! I couldn't even imagine doing half of the stuff that he does on a bike. His legs must be like rock solid muscle........

I say there real, mamy mountian bike tires are flat like car tires for greater surface contact. they are also have a lower psi. when blown up like that looks like poor rez which would make the curves flater. water color changes by depth and also shadows.

He fall down from his bike... look at him!
Also enclosing a photo of his partner when he was climbing that mountain...

they are fake... i do tons of photo work on photoshop CS3 and the lighting doesnt match up at all. Nor does the fact that the surrounding area is foggy yet you can very well see their brightly colored clothes. Thats my opinion anyway....
