View Full Version : Just finished my first custom light setup.

I took out the old fluorescent tube and replaced it with 3 26watt 6500k cfl's. Hooked up and old comp fan for cooling. Its veryg hetto but it work for now. lol. I think i might grab one more bulb because with 3 it leaves a dead spot in the tank. Well what do you guys think?

Is this sufficient lighting for a 36g bowfront tank.

Pretty cool.
You should be able to get some growth from low/medium light stuff.

It looks like Cabomba caroliana to me.
