Does anyone know if Angelfish would be ok in a tank with Dwarf Gouramis? I saw a couple of Dwarf Fire Honey Gouramis at lfs and they look really cool.

They should be fine. If the neons are fine, the gouramis will be.

one gourami will be fine, but the neons will not.

:iagree: Neons are the angelfish's natural prey.;)

The angel and the dwarf gourami will be or should be fine together. Of course you can always get a bad mix but this is not likely. They basically should establish their own territories and ignore each other.

The DG should be fine. 50/50 on the neons making it.

I actually wouldn't chance the DG in there. A 46 will be pretty tight for 4 Angels (especially if a bow front) as they grow to full size and if you're "lucky" enough to get a pairing, it could get ugly. It will be tough to establish enough discreet territories to keep the piece. I agree on the neons becoming Angel snacks of opportunity...

Thanks guys, I didn't get the DG. I know the neons are probably gonna end up being snacks but my angels are all still little. I will eventually upgrade to a larger tank when they get bigger, I'm happy for now, everyone seems to be getting along quite well (today!!) :)
