I just love the look of a bubble curtain in the backgroud of a tank. So I bought a 48 inch flexible wand by marinland for my 55gal

It looks great... I place it at the bottom of the tank againts the back wall.....

the problem is i want to hide it. When i cover it with gravel -- the micro bubbles become large bubbles and doesnt look like a wall so much.. I figure i needed a stronger air pump.... so i bought a fusion 700.......and I get the same problem.....

I need some ideas on how to hide this thing without losing the micro bubbles...

any thoughts?

Just do not bury it as much. Only cover it a little to help keep it in place. Actually I like the bigger bubbles. I think it looks really cool. I have one in my 25 gallon and I think it is awesome.

The deeper you bury it, the more the bubbles will collect together.

Decor is the best method to hide it.

I also have mine hidden behind a giant Red Melon Sword with the bubbles behind it. Works well for me.

Probably a long piece of driftwood or some stones is your best bet. Something that will block the sight of it from the front, but not actually cover it.
