Was asked to put up some pictures of them, and well here they are.. pictures came out a bit on the bad side since my glass is dirty lol and these guys dart around the tank so quick its hard to get a clear shot.

Nice.....Just got a pair of those myself. Wonderful killies.

Sucks. They tend to do the mass exodus thing as well. Just to P you O. Keep conditoning that female, and I'll see if I can't get another few for you. RichardA, they were sold to me as Benin City.

I moved the female to my other larger tank with a cover and she seems to enjoy the tank even more, actually swimming all over the place. Schooling with the cherry barbs and just zig zagging through the plants.. If i do get any from you in the future ill be sure to take all the precautions and treat them as if they were gold.

Don't or else we'd be facing financial crisis. These guys don't stop once they get started. they've started showing up in all of my tanks without any help from me, just as eggs on plants that have been shifted around. Another thing to worry about when dealing with numerous killie species.

how many exactly do you have?? lol If you had to compare them to guppies, which one is the more prolific?
Are these the only type you have? I might look into maybe getting some other species, these guys are just so awesome.

Well, when I tore down the 10 they used to live in a few months ago there were over 30 small juvies along with the six original parents. If I were to tear down their 29, there'd probably be double that. And that's in a tank with danio choprai!

very nice. Are you selling them locally to anyone? im sure if everyone heard that you got them they would want dips

I'm reluctant to sell. Since I didn't offer a live food source for the babies, the fish I have tend not to get as big as they should. Fecundity hasn't been compromised, it doesn't seem, and the fry would grow to normal size if given the proper food.

Man....guess I should have said about the jumping thing....I have been keeping killies for years and years, never really thought about it....sorry.
Mine are local "ijebu ode".
