Well on my piece of live rock today I thought I had some sort of macroalgae growing. but I could not find a pic online of what type. My hand brushed up against it and it felt like a mix between the bristles on a tooth brush and the wire brush things you stick in your gun to clean them.
It is dark red kinda maroonish. The only way I can describe it is it looks like a tiny tree coral of some type. Hopefully I'll have pics tomorow. But it's so tiny about the size of a small hermit crab. My question is is there a macroalgae that looks like that or do I actually have a coral(kinda hoping it's the second one:grinyes
