Hi Folks!

At my 9 year-old daughters request, we did some research and bought a betta. I haven't kept fish in 20 years, but had aquaria all during my childhood. We are both loving it. We keep the first betta in a very large bowl (live plants, hiding places, frequent water changes, approx. 1 gallon). He is doing quite well. A very peaceful and content fish he seems. Of course, I couldn't resist after my juices got flowing and I bought us a 10 gal. tank with a standard divider and we keep two more bettas in that tank. It is well planted, good filtration, etc. We're about 2-3 weeks in and all seems to be pretty well with the tank. My only concerns are regarding one of the bettas, a beauty he is, but rather aggressive. He will chase, and mildly seem to attack his reflection, as well as the other betta when it approaches the divider. He does not flare up nearly as much now as he did the first week, and this seems to be continually decreasing. But I wonder if he is stressing himself out. Should I be concerned as his flare ups are trending downward? Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. All fish are eating well. And on that note I have two other questions. What is the frequency of feeding I should provide (I have read/heard anywhere from 1x/3 days to 2x day)? And, lastly, are cleaned/rinsed earthworms from the back yard, chopped up, an acceptable occasional treat? I've read yes, but would like additional opinions before feeding them to our fish.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and an feedback regarding the above, or general betta info. Much appreciated!
