In my 10g I currently have about 17-19+ ghost shrimp (one female was berried and it appears she's released. idk if the young are still alive or not) with 4 Japanese Firebelly newts (C. pyrrhogaster). I feed my newts Canadian nightcrawlers (cut them up into very very tiny pieces) and they love them. One day I noticed that as a piece of the worm fell off the toothpick into the water and hit the sand, a few ghost shrimp swam over to it. It was history. Had a similar experience this morning when I was feeding my newts on a slightly submerged rock. I'm guessing the smell or w/e of the worm chunk drew in some hungry ghosties and a shrimp even pulled a piece off the toothpick:grinyes:. Apparently they love them to. Just thought I'd share this story since it was interesting to me
