there is ropefish for sale at my LFS for 9 bucks... he is labeled as community , but i wanted to check first. wil he eat my cories , rummy nose,hockey sticks or fish like that??

i really like him,and i may set up a tank aloe for him if he cant live with my others,that would be last resort tho, i have parents to deal with here lmfao
 
Anything slender are easy prey. You mean hockey pencilfish? They'll also be eaten. Cories though will work fine assuming these are not pygmy species.
 
You could put the ropefish with your oscar for a little while. I'm assuming the roper is to big to get eaten. You will need to upgrade though.

Good suggestion. PVC pipes and slates will help shield it from possible abuse. Increase water change frequency to cope with added bioload until you upgrade.:)
