the cyano(im guessing) is startin to retreat(im hopeing)......i noticed that it seems to be gathering in lil balls and clumps on the gravel.....non of the decor or live rock have any signs of it as of right now....

hopefully this stuff is starting to go away......I MISS BEING ABLE TO SEE MY FISH!!!!!!!!! lmao

best of luck to ya.......ive been fighting it now for 3 weeks.....and this is the first sign of clearing.....I HOPE ANYWAYS.......

Good luck with the cyano. I know the generally accepted way to get rid of it is with black outs as you are practicing and I hope it works as it has for many others.

There is another theory behind cyano, and this isn't due to too much light but the wrong type, not to say if you have the best lighting system money can buy will make you immune, it is the age of the lights, and the changes of wavelengths which are attributed with age (they get longer), and tend to favour the development of cyano.

Buy as I said, best of luck, but if you find that you are still having issues (nasty stuff really) give me a bell and I will be happy to elaborate.

Oh, one more thing, you need to increase flow as cyano is an anaerobic flourisher, apart from being mechanically removed also.
