I have a pair of bandit cichlids (Guianacara geayi) that spawned a while back. Amazingly, just about every one of the fry have survived. They are still quite small, but I want to start trying to find homes for them.

Bandits are pretty interesting and mostly peaceful fish. I have noticed them chase some angels from time to time, but they leave 1/2" swordtail fry alone. The only downside is that they are industrious diggers. I would not recommend them for planted tanks - they uprooted many of my plants, but in some situations they may be fine.

I am really not sure what these things are worth - I paid $10 per fish for my pair, but I am open to offers.

I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 to 50 of these guys.

How big do they get? And how would they do with Mbuna?

I'd recommend growing them to around 1" before starting to move them out, likely 6-8 weeks. I'll likely have space for 6 or so, will you be able to ship them?
