Today is 1 week since we bought our fishies and ALL 16 of them are doing well!! Honestly, I fully expected to lose a Tetra or two since they were purchased from a large chain pet store and I figured they would be poor quality but they have proven me wrong!! Yay!! Now, if only this darn tank would cycle we'd be doing super!

Congrats! As far as the cycle. Patience is the key. All tanks cycle eventually.

Dont want to be the party pooper but it sounds like a cue for a mass death to me!! If your tank is not cycled and you have put 16 fish in then you are going to have problems! 1 week is no time to be saying 'no problems'. I hope you are keeping an eye on your water stats so you can do a water change at the first signs of trouble which will happen if its not cycled!
