fish acting kinda weird?

i've only seem it twice by 2 different fish but they would go and turn sideways and kinda slide off the gravel? what does this mean???

Could be they are itchy and trying to scratch.
if they have ich, that is a good beginning sign, check for small white dots that look like salt.
if so, treat with Quick Cure.

could they just have a itch? i only see one dot of white and it was there when i bought one of them, others seem fine, act normal also? i tried to cure my freinds tanks once and i got rid-ich and it turned everthing in his tank blue and some experts at pet shops said you can do water changes once a week to get rid of ich?

How long ago did you get the fish that has the one dot?
'Cause if recently and it is ich, there will be more spots.

I'm not sure if just regular water changes will kill the ich, cause they fall off the fish and don't die, they reproduce I think and then get back in the water and back on the fish.

I've never had Oscars, so I can't tell you.
But I don't think that it can hurt, a lot of people use salt in a tank to help spead up healing.
But you are going to get different opinions about it.

Some people swear by it and others say it is useless? So, you just need to come to your own conclusion about that probably :)
